Shipping Czech Post

A. Sending parcels from the Czech Republic abroad

For sending our seed orders we mostly use the services of Česká pošta, which is the only Czech carrier that delivers to all countries in the world and is still the cheapest option from our customer’s point of view (of course, sometimes there are also some problems with shipments as with all other carriers).

We use two main variants of Czech Post services for sending parcels:

NEW CHANGE EFFECTIVE AS OF 20. JANUARY 2026

Please note that the FREE SHIPPING service is discontinued and is replaced by a completely new service called CACTUS MORAVIA PARTIALLY SUBSIDIZED SHIPMENT.

1. New current shipping option

The new standard shipping method is INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY PARCEL.

As of 1 January 2026, Czech Post (specifically the Czech Customs Authority) has officially prohibited inserting any non-paper items into bubble envelopes and letter mail. Envelopes and letters may now contain paper documents only. For this reason, the previously used Czech Post service RR – Registered Letter is no longer usable for shipping seeds or any other items inside bubble envelopes.

Due to the increased cost of the new worldwide seed shipping method, we are cancelling our original FREE SHIPPING service. Instead, we are introducing a new service called CACTUS MORAVIA PARTIALLY SUBSIDIZED SHIPMENT, which applies to the new Czech Post shipping method INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY PARCEL.

Our CMI company subsidy works as follows:

We provide a fixed subsidy of 200 CZK for every shipment.
The remaining balance of the total shipping cost for the INTERNATIONAL PRIORITY PARCEL is paid by the customer during order invoicing.

This way, we help reduce your shipping costs while always applying the current official Czech Post prices.

2. EMS variant (more expensive but faster variant, by air, includes EM tracking number) with maximum weight up to 30 kilograms

The packed seeds are always placed in a very sturdy cardboard box, economically chosen according to the size of your order Your “explicitly requested EU (CZ) phytocertificate” and also, if you supply us electronically your “Import permit” issued by the authorities in your country, all necessary we will reliably added directly to your shipment before it is sent.

B. Tracking of shipments from the Czech Republic to foreign countries

* If your parcel hasn’t arrived (now in these more difficult times you have to be much more patient for a possible longer delivery time),
let us know and we’ll preemptively start a claim procedure with the Czech Post first, they’ll often follow up after this urgency

NEW: CACTUS MORAVIA PARTIALLY SUBSIDIZED SHIPMENT

Due to the increased cost of the new worldwide seed shipping method, we are discontinuing our original CACTUS MORAVIA FREE SHIPPING service. It is now replaced by a new service called CACTUS MORAVIA PARTIALLY SUBSIDIZED SHIPMENT, applicable to the new Czech Post shipping method International Priority Parcel.

Our new CACTUS MORAVIA company subsidy is based on the following principle:

Our company provides a fixed subsidy of 200 CZK (Kč) for each shipment.
The remaining balance of the total shipping cost for the International Priority Parcel is paid by the customer during order invoicing.

This allows us to reduce your overall shipping costs, which are always calculated according to the current official Czech Post rates.

The minimum order value required to apply the CACTUS MORAVIA PARTIALLY SUBSIDIZED SHIPMENT service is 1 000 CZK (Kč).
