First Annual Event
Originally founded 30 years ago, revived with a pilot event in 2024 under a new organizational model
Motto of Pobeskydí First Annual 2025:
Originally an international symposium, now the biggest two-day social and lecture-style celebration of all things exotic in the Pobeskydí region, now specially organized for the general public. We welcome all enthusiasts and nature lovers, growers of all types of exotic plants, breeders of exotic birds and animals, and travelers from across Europe and the world. Absolutely all enthusiasts and admirers of nature are very welcome at our open-air event. We are committed to supporting the development of our shared passion—nature and exoticism in general, especially among the youngest, as well as the newly emerging generation of admirers of exotic nature.
Date and Venue of the Symposium
The two-day event takes place on Friday, June 27, 2025 (friendly evening gathering by the party tent from 4:00 PM) and on Saturday, June 28, 2025 (official opening from 9:00 AM) in the beautiful mountain resort Sudopark Klokočov, Kysucké Beskydy, Slovakia.

If the weather and mood allow, we’ll host a spontaneous evening rock & dance party by the Cactus Cabin with great food and drinks!

The following speakers have accepted our invitation and will deliver lectures from Friday evening through Saturday. Each lecture lasts 45 minutes, followed by a 10-minute discussion with attendees:

Primary accommodation in Sudopark

- Number 10 Kysucká Chalupa (choice of 6 bed positions, price 1.143 CZK / 1 person for two nights)
- Number 20 Sedliacky Dom (choice of 8 beds positions, price 1.348 CZK / 1 person two nights)
- Number 30 Miestjansky Dom (choice of 4 apartments, choice of 12 bed positions, price 1.593 CZK / 1 person two nights)
- Number 50 Chata u Igora (choice of 2 apartments, choice of 8 bed positions, price 1.348 CZK / 1 person two nights)
- Name Cottage Salaš (sleeping upstairs, 1 bedroom, choice of 4 bed positions, price 1.470 CZK / 1 person two nights)

Secondary Accommodation Option – Penzión Mária Korňa
Secondary accommodation option is Pension Mária Korňa link: https://www.penzionmariakorna. sk/sk/ (about 15 minutes by car from Sudopark) allows one-room accommodation with bathroom (double bed or two single beds and also single room for 1 person), also for one night sleeping only, and also the possibility of morning breakfast (buffet) separately (not included in the price of accommodation), here is payment only in EUR currency (cash, card) directly at the reception of Pension Mária, only it is necessary to send us in advance by email your reservation of accommodation and possibly breakfast. In the case of your accommodation in Pension Mária Korňa you also have to visit the reception of Pension Mária first and collect the keys to the accommodation in advance. Parking of your car is provided at the Mária Pension, also during the event in Sudopark

They will reliably provide nonstop transportation between the reception of Penzión Mária in Korňa and the reception of Sudopark Klokočov – and back. Whether day or night, they are available anytime to safely get you to and from these two locations.
The estimated price for one ride is 12 EUR for up to 4 people in a TIP TOP Nonstop taxi (that’s about 3 EUR per person). The taxi will pick you up and drop you off directly in front of the reception at either location.
Penzión Mária has a nonstop reception, so you can also choose to park your car there on Friday and take a taxi straight to the event at Sudopark.
